Urban Education Policy (UEP)

I grew up in Western Massachusetts and attended Providence College for my undergrad where I majored in Math / Secondary Education and minored in Computer Science with a Business concentration. While in college, I was co-president of Providence College Democrats and spent a summer working with Generation Teach Providence -- a summer school program for urban communities to engage children in learning outside of their traditional curriculums. Now, I am a part of Teach For America Rhode Island and working as a math teacher at Providence Career and Technical Academy. My love of teaching and my determination to create a more equitable education system has brought me to Brown's UEP Program, and I couldn't be more excited to get started.
