Hope Roselle (she/her) is a member of the ‘21-’22 Social Studies MAT cohort and is from Point Pleasant, New Jersey. Prior to arriving at Brown, Hope graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia, having studied theater and history. After her undergraduate studies, Hope worked in museums in Virginia and New Jersey, developing educational programming for students with a focus on 18th century American history and its manifestations in our present world. Hope is looking forward to building an exciting and sustaining classroom in which students recognize that future history is ours to define. In her free time, Hope can be found working on her first book, getting lost in the woods with her partner, watching Hayao Miyazaki films for the umpteenth time, and talking on the phone with her grandma.
