While a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Education Department from 2013 to 2016, Mona Abo-Zena originated work with students that was recently published in the journal of Research in Human Development. The special issue that she guest co-edited is entitled "Mentored Scholarship: Mirrors, Windows, and Doors to Understanding and Supporting Research in Human Development." Within the special edition, Abo-Zena also co-authored the study "Rhymes with Reason: Using Music to Connect Identity, Culture and Learning."
