Arianna O'Brien Cannon (She/They) is an equity-driven educator and advocate committed to transforming education systems through policy, innovation, and community partnerships. She began her career as a Teach For America corps member in Miami, FL, where she served as a 3rd-grade teacher and Digital Innovation Leader, earning recognition as Rookie Teacher of the Year. Arianna designed and led a bilingual Girls Who Code program to increase tech access for young girls of color and collaborated with families to improve student attendance and engagement. Her current/future research aims to bridge research, policy, and practice, focusing on early childhood literacy interventions, sustainable school culture practices, and addressing tech/gender gaps in PK-8 settings.
