Ava is part of the MAT-Science cohort, focusing on biology. They recently graduated from Brown University with an Sc.B. in Neuroscience. As an undergraduate, they conducted research on student motivations when choosing to take courses pass/fail or for a letter grade. They were also a teaching assistant for organic chemistry. They are passionate about helping students understand the world around them and confidently engage with scientific topics.
