Eliana Lopez (she/her) is a fifth-year master’s student from Pawtucket, Rhode Island. She graduated from Brown in 2025 with a concentration in Education Studies and is now part of the social studies cohort in the Master of Arts in Teaching program. Eliana is passionate about creating culturally responsive classrooms that affirm students’ identities and histories. She’s especially interested in restorative justice, youth activism, and making social studies relevant and empowering for all learners. She’s excited to grow alongside her MAT cohort and is committed to teaching in urban schools where she can help students see themselves as leaders and change-makers.
