Liam graduated magna cum laude from Alfred University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in education in 2022. He has been working in Ithaca NY for the past three years as a seventh grade English teacher where he has focused on working with refugee students as well as learning about identity-- an interest that began during his undergraduate thesis work on systemic racism through the lens of James Baldwin. As a MAT student, Liam hopes to increase his ability to work and connect with ENL students. In his free time, he has a wide range of interests ranging from watching women’s soccer and learning about art and architecture to traveling the world and watching movies.
