Fifth-Year Master of Arts in Teaching

Brown University undergraduates have the opportunity to stay at Brown for a fifth year and earn their Master of Arts in Teaching.

The fifth-year master's degree option allows Brown undergraduates to continue at the university for a master's degree after completing their bachelor's degree. We prepare our MAT candidates for secondary teaching certification (grades 7-12) in the following areas. Concentrators in these fields and allied concentrations are encouraged to apply.

The application deadline is January 15 of a student's senior year.
