Urban Education Policy Master's Students Present Capstone Research

The presentation integrates all facets of the graduate learning experience and provides an opportunity to demonstrate the ability to apply the tools of education policy research by examining a contemporary policy issue.

16 Urban Education Policy (UEP) graduate students recently presented their capstone projects to faculty, fellow students, and local and regional urban education professionals. UEP students applied the knowledge and skills learned in the program to a contemporary policy issue that they encountered in their nine-month internship.

"The capstone presentation offers powerful testimony on how our UEP graduating students are prepared to be a change agent as defined by their own path, their own pace, and their own voice in a particular urban education policy setting," says Professor Kenneth Wong, director of the UEP program.

Below are the student's presentation titles and the site of their internship.
