Funding and Scholarships
Students have access to merit-based and need-based scholarships for up to 100% of tuition cost. Financial aid comes directly from the Department of Education.
All applicants are automatically considered for merit scholarships when applying to the Brown University Master’s in Urban Education Policy program. No additional steps are required. Merit Awards typically cover up to 50% of total tuition, based on the strength of the application.
Most internships pay students on average $5,000 for the year. Additionally, most students engage in available research and teaching assistantships and other work opportunities to help offset the program costs.
