Listservs
The Department of Education operates two mailing lists (aka “listservs”) intended for MAT/UTEP and UEP alums. They are used to share departmental updates that are relevant to alums, and for people to share job openings and professional development opportunities with each other.

BrownConnect
BrownConnect is a powerful resource not only for connecting alumni with students seeking internship and research opportunities but also for alumni looking to connect with each other for professional networking and career advice. Alumni also may benefit from remaining actively involved in the life of Brown as mentors who help enrich students’ journeys. In addition, the alumni-to-alumni element empowers users to reach out directly to fellow alumni.
It is searchable by a wide range of keywords and categories, some of which are specific to Brown. Through BrownConnect, alumni can engage with students, build professional networks, get advice from other Brunonians across industries, and create career connections.
Make a Graduate Student Referral
We seek top candidates who want to lead the work for educational equity and who welcome the challenges and opportunities of our programs. Your referral helps us identify the best candidates to join Brown's graduate programs in education.
If somebody that you refer chooses to apply for admission, we will waive their $100 application fee.
