Ali Cellars (she/her) is currently an Urban Education Policy student at Brown University. Ali completed her undergraduate degree at Providence College where she graduated with a degree in Elementary and Special Education. Upon graduation, she spent several years in the teaching field where she taught students as young as kindergarten through seventh grade as well as earned a certificate from Bridgewater State University in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. While teaching she has worked as a Special Education Teacher as well as a General Educator in Central Falls, Rhode Island as well as in Cranston, Rhode Island.  Additionally, Ali has completed a research project about implementing a fraction intervention with the American Institute for Research as well as in partnership with Vanderbilt University. Upon graduation from the program, she is looking to work in educational consulting or research in order to help create equity in schools so that all students can reach their fullest potential.
