Asia Cofield (she/her) is from the Shinnecock Nation on Long Island, New York. She received her B.A. in Literary Arts with Honors from Brown University in 2023. In 2022, she was a Native American Journalists Association x NBC News Fellow. She has a broad interest in writing and education, with experience teaching poetry to fifth graders in Providence. She is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Teaching in the English cohort.
