He earned his Bachelor's degree in Public Policy from Brown University with a primary focus on education policy. While earning his degree he worked part-time as a substitute teacher in Providence Public Schools, where he found his love for the classroom and aspired to dedicate himself to a career of service as an educator.

As a personal pursuit, he enjoys thinking about the intersection of art and mathematics. In his free time, he explores art through tattoo design, cooking, and songwriting. He hopes to bring these interests into the classroom and reveal the interdisciplinary nature of math!
