Elliana Reynolds (she/hers) is currently pursuing her MAT in Social Studies at Brown University. Originally from Zion, Illinois, she previously graduated from Brown with two bachelor's degrees: History and Education Studies. During her time there, she volunteered at local schools as a mentor to younger students, conducted early American research, wrote in student publications, and passionately participated in an activist group dedicated to promoting student equity in Providence and at Brown. In her day-to-day life, she enjoys reading, writing short stories, watching period pieces, and discussing and putting into action intersectional feminism. While in and after graduating from the MAT program, Elliana is excited to be a social studies educator rooted in values of social justice, critical thinking, curiosity, empowerment, joy, and community.
