A first-generation, Los Angeles native, Isabel graduated from Cal State Long Beach in 2023. She began her undergrad career convinced she would go into teaching. However, first- and second-hand experiences advised her on the inequitable systems within education. This prompted a passion for understanding and dismantling barriers faced by marginalized students, particularly those in the BIPOC and neurodivergent communities. Isabel looks forward to developing systems that support equitable educational spaces, and learning from her peers and the Providence community. 

In her free time, Isabel enjoys playing with her dogs, exploring new areas, rewatching sitcoms, dancing, and spending time with her familia.
