Nia Callender is a returning Brown student who is excited to continue her education through the UEP program. She recently graduated with degrees in Sociology and Latin American & Caribbean Studies and has always been interested in making sustainable and equitable policy decisions in our education system. She is particularly passionate about cultural competence and multilingual education. Outside of school, she loves to dance and teach through Brown's Latin dance team, Mezcla, and the Brown Salsa Club.
