Promethea Carroll (she/her) was born in Oakland, California. She is a recent graduate of Brown University and concentrated in History with a contemporary focus on oppressive institutions and revolutionary acts. With her previous experiences teaching and tutoring combined with this program, she hopes to become a strong social studies teacher who gifts her students a voracious need to learn more about the world around them and how it got there. Her most recent school-related experiences were working as a student teacher with Breakthrough Greater Boston over the 2022 summer and working as a front desk secretary for a local high school since the start of the 2022 fall.
