Biography

Education: Columbia University, Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, 2018. Duke University, Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering, 2019    

Thomas developed his interest in education as an undergraduate while assistant teaching at a Columbia University summer program that instructed underserved high school students about engineering through laboratory experiments and design projects. He has experience in being a teaching assistant for high school, undergraduate, and graduate-level engineering courses at Columbia and Duke University where he attained bachelor's and master's degrees in biomedical engineering. Thomas is excited to develop teaching skills in Brown's MAT program to complement his subject knowledge and enable him to share his passion for knowledge and learning while teaching high school physics.
