The faculty member in this position will provide leadership, teaching, supervision and advising to each cohort of social studies pre-service teachers in an intensive one-year Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT). The program cultivates deep partnerships with Providence area schools with significant ethnic and linguistic diversity. All teacher education faculty members contribute to the professional development of student teachers as well as local teachers in partner schools.
