On The Late Bell with John Phillips podcast, Associate Professor of Education Matthew Kraft explores possible solutions for the next school year to help mitigate some of the learning loss that may occur during long-term school closures due to the coronavirus pandemic. "The idea here is that we're not going to put a Band Aid over this. We're going to need to just recognize that we are going to need to meet students where they are and do more than we've done in the past to help them not only catch up, but to address what are likely to be growing both achievement and opportunity gaps among students who when they go home have vastly different resources and supports."
