Ari Gil (He/Him) received a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Sarah Lawrence College and is a current member of the 2025 MAT cohort. During his time at SLC, he worked as a teaching assistant and a biochemistry researcher. Before joining Brown’s MAT program, Ari gained teaching experience as an online STEM tutor for low-income school districts and as an instructor for secondary students in STEM. Ari believes that all students deserve a high-quality science education and that, with the right elements, every student can have a positive reaction to chemistry. Upon completion of Brown's MAT program, Ari plans to become a high school chemistry teacher.
