She has primarily worked within non-profit settings focusing on after-school programming. She started her journey as an AmeriCorps volunteer at the Providence After School Alliance. She hopes to continue her educational journey in search of more opportunities for self-development, and empowerment for young girls and the overall community.

Upon completion of the UEP program, Dana hopes to help bridge the gap of inequalities that still exist within the RI School System and find ways to uplift the small non-profits she has worked for directly or indirectly.
