Jake is a former educator passionate about closing the opportunity gap for all students, particularly multilingual students and students of color. He has diverse policy experience focusing on improving struggling schools in Connecticut, analyzing education and workforce program data in DC, optimizing educational programs in the non-profit sector, and crafting school governance regulation and data analyses at the Rhode Island Department of Education.

He is committed to creating positive and meaningful school environments for students and teachers and improving literacy and social-emotional learning for students. Jake is a foreign language enthusiast, avid reader, and aspirational gardener looking to help craft policies and legislation to improve education for all.
