Biography

Education: Connecticut College, B.A. History (Regional Concentration: Africa), 2020    

Oliver is pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching in Secondary Social Studies from Brown University. He graduated from Connecticut College with a B.A. in History in 2020 and began working at his family's funeral home in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, soon after graduating college. Oliver then worked as a paralegal for a veterans disability law firm in Providence for over two years. After substitute teaching at the Wheeler School a block from Brown, Oliver found his calling in the classroom. He was born and raised in the Providence area and is beyond excited to be working with the area's youth to imagine a better future for all.
