Tucker Ninteau (he/him) is an aspiring educator passionate about leveraging classroom communities to promote equity and self-empowerment for youth in underserved areas. He grew up in a rural town in western Massachusetts before receiving a BA in Economics from Brown University. He has held internship positions in the President’s Office at the Community College of Rhode Island and the Commissioner's Office at the Rhode Island Department of Education.

Outside of the classroom, he works as a professional tutor for math and economics at the Community College of Rhode Island and as a substitute teacher at the regional high school in his hometown. He is especially interested in curriculum design and improving academic engagement among non-college-bound youth. He believes that all students should leave high school with the tools they need to thrive in 21st-century society, and he plans to work tirelessly inside and outside the classroom to improve educational quality and outcomes for students in the communities he serves.
