The Urban Education Policy program provides students with unparalleled access to policymakers and education reformers. This one-year program allows you to leave Brown with the skill set required to enter a competitive job market. Students from the UEP program have gone on to work in nonprofits, government, school districts, and the private sector, which speaks to the program’s broad applicability and unprecedented mentorship.
Brown undergraduates who are currently enrolled and who apply to UEP as fifth-year master's students benefit from an application fee waiver, a streamlined application, and a reduced graduate course load (eight courses instead of nine).
The application deadline is January 15 of senior year (semester 7 or 8).
